Neonatal Pulmonary Haemorrhage
ENT Surgeries: Adenoidectomy, Tympanoplasty, Tonsillectomy
Haemorrhoidectomy
Dosage of Botropase 2 ml Injection
Prophylactic: 2 ml IM 30 minutes or 1 hour before surgery & 2ml IV 15 to 30 minutes prior to surgery; 2ml per day IM for 3 to 4 days before surgery if there is a danger of postoperative haemorrhage due to coagulopathies.
Therapeutic: 2ml IM OR IV; repeat every 6 to 8 hours till the desired effect is obtained. In serious conditions, IV Injection to be followed by IM. One can repeat Inj. Botropase every 30 minutes until the desired response is obtained in case of emergencies.
