Neonatal Pulmonary Haemorrhage
ENT Surgeries: Adenoidectomy, Tympanoplasty, Tonsillectomy
Haemorrhoidectomy
Dosage of Botropase 1 ml Injection
Prophylactic: 1 ml IM 30 minutes or 1 hour before surgery & 1 ml IV 15 to 30 minutes prior to surgery; 1 ml per day IM for 3 to 4 days before surgery if there is a danger of post- operative haemorrhage due to coagulopathies.
Therapeutic: 1 ml IM OR IV; repeat every 6 to 8 hours till desired effect is obtained. In serious conditions, IV Injection to be followed by IM. One can repeat Inj. Botropase every 30 minutes till desired response is obtained in case of emergencies.
